What is the 'make public' option when creating a challenge?

All Challenge Hound challenges are private by default. They can only be found by sharing private challenge links. The default "join" page only shows participant thumbnails (not names) and general challenge details. Participant names or progress are not displayed or provided.

If you enable "public leaderboard, charts, and maps", then Challenge Hound will provide participant first name and last initial, as well as overall progress. This data is provided on the public challenge page, within embedded maps, and widgets. Full leaderboards or activity details are not provided.
